We're Back – It's Time for FairAI's Wrapped 2024! 🎉

We know it’s been a while since you last received our newsletter. But don’t worry – we haven’t been standing still!

If you follow us on social media, you know our marketplace has kept growing and bringing exciting updates. During this time, we have also kept our stakeholders informed with internal weekly updates – guess what? Some people told us these updates should go public.

We thought it was a fantastic idea! That’s why we’re transforming these weekly updates into something we can share with everyone. And so, the new version of our newsletter was born—now in a monthly edition packed with insights, stories, and major milestones.

For our big comeback, there’s no better way to kick things off than with our Wrapped 2024 🎉 – a recap of what happened in our marketplace over the past year and a glimpse of what’s ahead.

Kicking Off 2024 with Techstars Web3 🚀

Our year started with a significant achievement: we were selected to be part of the Techstars Web3 Class of 2024, one of the best accelerators in the world! After a rigorous selection process, the program started in Dublin in mid-March and concluded in New York in early June.

Throughout those months, we met incredible people, including the Techstars team, brilliant founders from other startups, and inspiring mentors. The best part? We’re still collaborating closely with the Techstars family and network, even after the program ended.

Our Marketplace: Major Evolutions in 2024 💡

Throughout the year, our marketplace has evolved significantly. Here are some of the main highlights:

  • Requests for Custom AI Solutions: Companies can now create specific requests for AI solutions tailored to their needs. Our marketplace connects these companies with developers who build the solutions and deploy them directly on the FairAI marketplace;
  • Stablecoin Payments: We introduced payments with USDC on Arbitrum, making the process simpler and more accessible;
  • Improved Onboarding and Wallet Integration: We’ve made the onboarding process smoother. For instance, users can now set a spending limit, removing the need to manually sign every transaction when using prompts for available AI solutions in the marketplace;
  • Mobile Access: Our marketplace is now accessible on mobile devices through the MetaMask app, enhancing users' convenience;
  • Integration with AO: We integrated our marketplace with AO, Arweave’s hyper-parallel computer. When a solution is deployed on our marketplace, AO ensures its computation, simplifying the developers’ workload;
  • Landing Page: Our landing page was completely redesigned, making it more user-friendly and visually engaging to showcase everything FairAI offers.

Onboarding Companies and Developers 🌍

Beyond technical progress, 2024 was also a year of global expansion for FairAI. We attended several events around the world, including EthCC in Brussels, Token2049 in Singapore, and Devcon in Bangkok.

These events were instrumental in showcasing FairAI to companies seeking custom AI solutions for their use cases and developers interested in building those solutions and collaborating with us.

With each trip, we strengthened our network and moved closer to our goal of connecting companies and developers efficiently and innovatively.

Other Achievements in 2024 🎉

2024 was a year full of accomplishments beyond the development of our marketplace. Here are some highlights:

  • Arbitrum Grant: We received a grant from Arbitrum to develop an AI solution that allows people outside the ecosystem to explore the projects that received growth incentives through the LTIPP and STIP programs;
  • Arbitrum CollabTech Hackathon: We participated in the Arbitrum CollabTech Hackathon and reached the finals with DECIDE, an AI-driven solution designed to maximize the impact of grants within the Arbitrum ecosystem;
  • Artizen Season 4: We were selected for Season 4 of Artizen, an innovative project that also participated with us in the Techstars Web3 Class of 2024. The sale of artifacts is underway, and each purchase helps us unlock funds. Take a look at our artifact 😉

What’s Ahead in 2025? 🎉

We’re working on several exciting new features and improvements for 2025, but the best way to stay updated with everything we’re building is to look for our next edition, which is coming out next month!
